Książka stanowi analizę opublikowanych w XXI wieku polskich utworów literackich dla dzieci i młodzieży mówiących o Zagładzie. Autor analizuje sposób obrazowania Szoa w książkach kierowanych do młodych czytelników i odpowiada na pytanie, jak konstruowane są literackie i wizualne obrazy postaci, przestrzeni i czasu oraz peryteksty. Wykorzystuje przy tym narzędzia narratologiczne, badania nad postpamięcią oraz studia nad ideologią. ****** Imaging the Shoah: Holocaust Narratives in Polish Children’s and Young Adult Literature of the 21st Century The book analyses Polish literary works on the Holocaust for children and young adults published in the 21st century. The author examines the representation of the Shoah in books for young readers and investigates how literary and visual portraits of people, space and time as well as peritexts are constructed. To achieve this, he uses narratology, post-memory and ideology studies.
