Internal Security, January-June 2011

The world globalisation processes have inevitably been accompanied by the development of new forms of crime and the occurrence of crisis incidents (acts of terrorism, major transportation accidents, construction accidents, or natural disasters). The above phenomena increase the demand for knowledge, the use of which may directly or indirectly influence the effectiveness of agencies responsible for internal security. With its basic goal of spreading the knowledge of the protection of public safety and order, the scientific journal Internal Security is one of the many ventures aimed at meeting the demand. The journal is oriented towards security aspects of universal scope. It is a forum where views and opinions are exchanged by specialists of various branches (both scientists and practitioners) from different countries, and in particular European ones. Entrepreneurs of non-public sector are welcome to exchange their opinions in the journal, as well. In many cases methods and mechanisms which are used to ensure safety are of universal nature and they can be applied by both, public and non-public sectors.Grzegorz Wrochna, Agnieszka Syntfeld-Kazuch, Marek Moszynski, Michal Gierlik, Slawomir Wronka: Accelerators and Detectors for Homeland Security 9 Max Schvoerer, Celine Ollagnier, Claude Ney, Stephan Dubernet, Pierre Selva, Nadine Colmant de Kock, Philippe Speeckaert, Cilia Enza, Jean-Pierre Massue, Edouard Aubert: Nano-Trace: a Marking Tool for Movable Objects of Cultural or Industrial Value 29 George Solomos, Folco Casadei, Georgios Giannopoulos, Martin Larcher: Experimental and Numerical Simulation Activities for the Assessment of Explosion Effects in a Train Station 49 Frederic Crestin, Michel Judde: Strategic and Economic Issues of Ownership Rights and Private Life Compliance 63 Bernard Wisniewski: Principal Threats to State Security - Essence and Interdependence 69 Wlodzimierz Chojnacki: Outline of a New Interdisciplinary Model for Research Intangible and Tangible Security 79 Monica Vlad, Marius Mazilu: Present Considerations About Romania´s National Security 91 Arkadiusz Sekscinski: The Organization of State Bodies Responsible for Internal Security in Norway 97 Grzegorz Gudzbeler, Mariusz Nepelski, Andrzej Urban: Japanese Support System of Crisis Management Services 107 Cornelis J.
